Started by Kirk Simpson in 2019, Atlanta Carnivorous Gardens seeks to provide high quality, seed-grown plants of North American Pitcher Plants (Sarracenia), Flytraps (Dionaea) and Sundews (Drosera) to the public.
Welcome to Atlanta Carnivorous Gardens!
My name is Kirk Simpson and I have been an avid carnivorous plant collector for over 15 years. Like many CP growers, I was disappointed at the lack of open-to-the-public nurseries. At ACG, we hope to provide a local option for growers in the southeast and show people that – YES, these plants can be grown right in your backyard!

Our Mission
Offer high quality, seed-grown plants to the public. Educate new growers by showing them tested, easy methods for successfully cultivating Sarracenia, Dionaea and Drosera at home.
What We Do
At ACG, we grow more than 80% of our plants from seed. This process takes years to accomplish and is more difficult than other mass-production methods, but allows us to provide completely unique plants of the highest quality.
